What is World Tattoo Removal Day?

National Tattoo Removal Day occurs every year on August 14, spotlighting the changing perspectives on tattoos and the freedom of tattoo removal. It’s a day to recognize choice and individual expression, emphasizing that unwanted tattoos no longer need to be permanent.

This year, as the world’s tattoo removal experts, we’re presenting the first ever World Tattoo Removal Day to raise awareness of the safety, efficacy, and accessibility of modern-day tattoo removal treatments across the globe.

Ink-nitiative

To commemorate the inaugural day, we’re providing complete removal treatment packages to 150 individuals who have applied for our INK-nitiative program across our global studios, with the intent to carry on this tradition annually.

Our INK-nitiative program is a community outreach initiative designed to provide safe, effective and free tattoo removal treatment to those in need who were formerly incarcerated, gang members, survivors of human trafficking and abuse, and those to wish to remove hate symbols or racist tattoos.
