Head to the centrally located ICC Sydney for the Rites of Passage Sydney festival from 11 – 13 November 2022. This festival will showcase up to 350 of the best tattoo artists from Australia and across the globe at the Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival. There will be live tattooing, giveaways and prizes, competitions, tonnes of retailers selling tattoo-related gear and live music.
Gather at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the Melbourne Australian Tattoo Expo from 2 – 4 December 2022. There will be up to 300 of Australia’s most talented tattoo artists under the one roof. You’ll have the opportunity to meet artists and make an appointment or get inked on the spot! There will be live tattoo competitions, body piercing, tattoo-related merch and thrilling sideshow entertainment.

The 2022 Sydney Australian Tattoo Expo took place at ICC Sydney from 1 – 3 April 2022. It was a fun-filled day where attendees got fresh ink by famous tattoo artists, watched Sideshow Cabaret shows and took part in the Shittest Tattoo Competition and the Tattoo Series competition. The 2022 Melbourne Rites of Passage festival ran from 22 – 24 April 2022 at the Royal Exhibition Building. It was a stellar day kicking off with a performance by Common Ground First Nations “Rites of Passage: The Origins of Tāmoko”, a dance highlighting Maori culture. Tonnes of people got new tattoos and visited retailers selling tattoo-related merch. Next year’s event will take place from 28 – 30 April 2023 2023 at the Royal Exhibition Building.
The 2022 Brisbane Australian Tattoo Expo took place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 15 – 17 July 2022. This expo also featured Sideshow Cabaret shows, the Shittest Tattoo Competition and prestigious tattoo awards. Hundreds of people visited their favourite and new artists to get new tattoos.
