Questions you might have when beginning the tattoo removal process are, “What will the results actually look like? What can I expect before and after the removal process? And what does it look like when it’s in progress?”
Below, you can see actual before and after photos from real Removery clients. These clients worked with our staff to determine a removal plan that worked for them and their specific artwork.
Laser tattoo removal works by applying concentrated energy to ink particles, breaking the particles into smaller ones. Your immune system is then able to flush out the smaller ink particles. To effectively break up the ink, each laser treatment works at a different skin depth. So multiple sessions (all spaced between six to eight weeks apart) are required to target all of the ink in your tattoo.
The number of sessions you’ll need depends on factors, including depth and density of the tattoo ink, ink composition, and ink location, along with your health and lifestyle choices.
Whether you have a finger tattoo, a back tattoo, it is on your neck, or another area, we can remove it, but we must consider location and other factors. You’ll also need to complete some tattoo removal aftercare to keep your skin healthy after treatment.
The tattoo removal photos below show examples of the results that Removery can achieve. Individual results vary based on factors including skin type, tattoo depth, color and pigmentation, and tattoo location. Removed tattoo before and after photos show just some of the results we get for our clients.
Can You Completely Remove a Tattoo?
When thinking about getting a tattoo removed, one of the most frequently asked questions is, “Will it be completely gone?” Tattoo removal is a process. But with time and repetition, you will likely see complete removal. We do not guarantee 100% removal because it isn’t possible for all clients.
For most Removery clients, 90-95% pigment eradication is “full removal.” This eradication means a splotch of color may remain, but most people won’t be able to tell you had a tattoo. You can see some of these results in the tattoo removal after pictures above.
Do You See Immediate Results After Tattoo Removal?
The amount of time it takes to see the “after” in the before and after of tattoo removal varies. It depends on how your body responds to the treatments. Most people start to see their tattoo fade within three to five removal sessions. The process is gradual, but most people see a dramatic before and after for their tattoos. As these tattoo removal process photos show, many clients see total removal after 10-12 sessions.
How Long Does Tattoo Removal Take?
Another FAQ when considering tattoo removal is, “How long is this whole thing going to take?” Removery has treated more than 250,000 tattoos. In our years of experience, we’ve found we can remove most tattoos in 10-12 sessions. Each session needs to be six to eight weeks apart.
Not all tattoos are the same, which means it may take fewer or more sessions to remove your particular tattoo.
