AS SUCH, PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES IN THEIR ENTIRETY BEFORE ENTERING.
The Removery World Tattoo Removal Day 2026 Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is sponsored and operated by Removery, LLC and Removery (Canada) Ltd. (collectively, “Sponsor”). By entering the Promotion, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Removery World Tattoo Removal Day 2026 Giveaway Official Rules (“Promotion Rules”), the Removery Privacy Policy, the Removery Terms of Use, and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Promotion. Entrants are prohibited from submitting an entry for a purpose other than entering the Promotion for the entrant’s personal benefit. If you do not agree to these Promotion Rules in their entirety, you are not permitted to enter the Promotion. If any entry or entrant is determined to be non-compliant with these Promotion Rules, said entry or entrant shall be disqualified. All federal, state, provincial, territorial, and local laws and regulations apply.
The Promotion is open only to individuals who are (a) located in and legal residents of the United States, residing in the contiguous United States or the District of Columbia (excluding Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Alaska, Tennessee, Ohio, U.S. Territories (including, but not limited to, Puerto Rico and Guam), and where otherwise prohibited by law), or (b) located in and legal residents of Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec; (c) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry; and (d) who can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law. Entries received from persons residing outside the eligible geographic areas, or where restricted or prohibited by law, will be disqualified. The Promotion is void for employees of Sponsor, Administrator (as defined below), and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, managers and members (“Promotion Parties”), and members of each of their immediate family or persons living in the same household.
The Promotion begins on August 3, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on August 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the “Giveaway Period”). Sponsor’s system clock is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.
During the Giveaway Period, to enter you must comment “Removery Giveaway” on Removery’s official Instagram giveaway post identified as such by Sponsor (the “Giveaway Post”).
Upon commenting, entrants may receive an automated Instagram message (via ManyChat or a similar automation tool) confirming entry and providing a link to these Promotion Rules. Following @Removery on Instagram is encouraged but is not required to enter or to be eligible to win.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per Instagram account, regardless of the number of times an individual comments. Entries submitted using multiple Instagram accounts, through the use of bots, scripts, macros, or other automated means, or on behalf of another person, are void.
Entrant’s Instagram account must be in existence, and (if applicable) able to receive direct messages, at the time of entry and through winner verification. Entrants with private accounts may need to make their account temporarily accessible, or otherwise cooperate with Sponsor, to allow for entry verification and winner notification.
Comments must be submitted directly on the Giveaway Post during the Giveaway Period. Comments that are edited, deleted, or that do not contain the exact required text, and comments submitted on any other post, Story, or platform, will not be counted as valid entries.
All entries must be received during the Giveaway Period. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate, mistyped, or misdirected entries, or entries not received for any reason (including technical failure or platform outage), and any such entries are void. No purchase of Sponsor’s services will increase any entrant’s chances of winning a Prize.
Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) Complete Removal Package, with an approximate retail value of up to $5,000 (each, a “Prize”). The actual value of a winner’s Prize will depend on that winner’s specific tattoo(s) and treatment plan, as determined in a consultation with Removery, and may be less than $5,000; no cash, credit, or other compensation will be paid for any difference between actual and stated value. No substitution, sale, or transfer of a Prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if a Prize (or any element of it) becomes unavailable for any reason.
Candidacy: Completing a consultation is not a condition of winning. As part of the Prize redemption process, each winner will be scheduled for a complimentary consultation with a Removery clinician, through Sponsor’s existing winner consultation workflow, to confirm the winner is an appropriate candidate for laser tattoo removal before treatment begins. If, based on that consultation, a winner is not an appropriate candidate for treatment, Sponsor reserves the right to adjust the Prize, including by recommending an appropriate alternative treatment plan, in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion.
No guarantee of results: Sponsor makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the outcome of any tattoo removal treatment, including as to the number of sessions required or the degree of fading or removal achieved. Individual results vary.
Redemption: The Prize must be scheduled at a participating Removery clinic location within the winner’s eligible country by December 31, 2026, or it will be forfeited.
Sponsor has no responsibility for cancellations, delays, or changes by any company or person providing any element of a Prize due to reasons beyond Sponsor’s control, and is not responsible for any expenses incurred as a result. Each Prize is awarded without warranty of any kind from Sponsor, express or implied, except as expressly stated herein. Sponsor is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or other expenses associated with a Prize that are not specifically described above. Sponsor may verify the information submitted by a winner. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award that Prize to an alternate winner selected by random drawing from among the remaining entries. The Promotion is not sponsored by, and is in no way endorsed by, administered by, or associated with, any social media network on which notice of the Promotion is posted, including, but not limited to, Meta, Instagram, or ManyChat.
On or about August 19, 2026, ten (10) winners will be selected by random drawing from among all entries received during the Giveaway Period, using App Sorteos or a similar independent drawing application (“Administrator”). Odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of entries received, divided by ten (10). Selection from among all entries received does not confirm eligibility; each selected entrant’s eligibility, including residency in an eligible jurisdiction under Section 1, will be verified after selection based on the Affidavit of Eligibility described below and any other verification Sponsor deems necessary. A selected entrant who does not satisfy these Promotion Rules, including an entrant later determined to reside in a jurisdiction excluded under Section 1, will be disqualified, and the applicable Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected from the remaining entries. Potential winners will first be notified by Instagram direct message and subsequently by email, and each must sign and return the required Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, and, where legally permissible, a Publicity Waiver and Release, within five (5) days of the date notice is sent or such other date set by Sponsor. Failure to respond within the applicable time period will result in forfeiture of the Prize, and Sponsor may award it to an alternate winner. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. ALL TAXES RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE OF A PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE APPLICABLE WINNER. IRS Form 1099 (or Canadian equivalent, if applicable) will be issued in the name of each winner for the actual value of the Prize received, where required by law. By entering, each entrant accepts these Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters. Acceptance of a Prize also constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name and likeness and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law.
By entering the Promotion, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Promotion Parties, Meta, Instagram, and ManyChat (the “Released Parties”) harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, including any tattoo removal treatment received as part of a Prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Released Parties are not responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security or privacy settings, or an entrant’s provision of incorrect or non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network or platform connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, the entrant, or any social media platform, automation tool, equipment, or programming associated with this Promotion; human error in processing entries; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publication of the offer, administration of the Promotion, or announcement of a Prize. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is such an error, or suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion, or technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) that compromise the integrity of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify the Promotion in a manner it deems appropriate.
Entrant further agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and settlement costs), damages, suits, and judgments arising out of: (a) improper or unauthorized participation in the Promotion; (b) breach of these Promotion Rules; (c) violation of any rights of another individual or entity; or (d) ambiguity or error in the Promotion, these Promotion Rules, or Sponsor’s Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.
In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, the Prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the Instagram account associated with the winning entry. Except where prohibited by law, a winner’s entry and acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its assigns to use that winner’s name, Instagram handle/account name, and to tag the winner in posts, photographs, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state/province of residence, on a worldwide basis, in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation or authorization. Each winner releases and waives any right of or claim to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal or moral rights relating to, arising out of, or embodied in the entry or the use of the winner’s name, image, and likeness, and agrees not to pursue any action, claim, or dispute against the Released Parties on any such grounds.
All entrants further understand and agree that all rights under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of California (“Section 1542”), and any similar law of any state or territory that may be applicable to the foregoing release, are hereby expressly and forever waived. Section 1542 provides: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.”
Entrants agree that all matters arising out of or relating to this Promotion and these Promotion Rules (including, without limitation, issues concerning construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability, and the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any conflict-of-law rules that would apply the laws of any other jurisdiction.
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (a) any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or relating to this Promotion, these Promotion Rules, or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal or state courts located in Austin, Texas, and entrants irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and agree not to seek transfer to another forum under forum non conveniens or otherwise; (b) any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering the Promotion, and in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) entrants waive all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any right to have damages multiplied or increased, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses.
Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Removery Privacy Policy, available on Removery’s website.
Except where prohibited by law, entrants grant Sponsor the right to use their names, Instagram handles/account names, likenesses, voices, opinions, and biographical information, and city and state/province of residence, for publicity, advertising, trade, or promotional purposes. Entrants agree that information received as part of this Promotion may be used for the delivery of advertisements or as Sponsor otherwise sees fit, consistent with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
By commenting on the Giveaway Post, you are directly and voluntarily contacting Sponsor for the purpose of entering the Promotion, and you consent to receive a one-time automated Instagram message from Sponsor confirming your entry and linking to these Promotion Rules. You are not required to follow @Removery, respond further, or engage with Sponsor’s messaging automation to remain eligible to win.
Any message beyond the one-time entry confirmation (for example, if you reply to or otherwise continue the conversation with Sponsor’s automated assistant) will identify Removery as the sender and explain how to stop receiving further messages, including by replying “STOP,” unfollowing, blocking, or muting the account, or by emailing [email protected].
For entrants located in Canada, this messaging approach is designed to comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): the automated confirmation message is sent solely in response to, and for the purpose of completing, your own request to enter the Promotion, and it identifies Removery and provides a functional means of opting out, consistent with CASL’s consent, identification, and unsubscribe requirements.
Sponsor will retain records of entries and related consents for at least three (3) years. Sponsor’s giveaway messaging automation is limited to Instagram messaging; it will not be used to send SMS/text messages to entrants unless and until separate, CASL/TCPA-compliant express consent to receive text messages is obtained.
Apart from the Promotion-related communications described in this Section, by entering you are opting into Removery sharing your information with third parties for purposes related to this Promotion; if you do not want Removery to share your information with third parties generally, email [email protected] and Removery will take appropriate action, provided that Removery may still share your information with the Administrator for purposes of conducting this Promotion. Opting out of marketing emails, direct messages, or offers will not decrease your chances of winning.
A copy of the winner list may be obtained by sending a written request to Removery at 1400 S. Congress Ave, Suite A270, Austin, TX 78704, postmarked within 15 calendar days of the end of the Giveaway Period, or by emailing [email protected] within the same period. Requests must identify the Promotion by name. Sponsor will respond by mail or email.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time for any reason. Sponsor may disqualify or prohibit an entrant from participating in this or any other promotion conducted by Sponsor if, in its sole discretion, it determines the entrant has violated these Promotion Rules or has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair practices, or by annoying, abusing, threatening, or harassing other entrants, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s representatives.
You may be charged by your internet or mobile carrier for accessing the Promotion or these Promotion Rules, in accordance with your service agreement. Please consult your provider regarding applicable data or messaging charges.
The Released Parties are not responsible or liable for failure to supply a Prize, or any part of it, due to acts of God, governmental action, equipment failure, terrorism, war, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic (including any governmental response thereto), explosion, severe weather, labor dispute, transportation interruption, civil disturbance, outage or malfunction of any social media or messaging platform used in connection with the Promotion, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.
If any provision of these Promotion Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Any attempt to damage, destroy, tamper with, or vandalize the technology associated with the Promotion, or otherwise interfere with its operation, violates criminal and civil law, and Sponsor will pursue all available remedies against any offending individual or entity. These Promotion Rules contain the entire understanding with respect to the Promotion and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether oral or written. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. No amendment or waiver of any provision is effective unless in writing and signed by Sponsor, and no waiver of any provision constitutes a waiver of any other provision. Entrant’s rights and obligations may not be assigned without Sponsor’s prior written consent. These Promotion Rules bind and benefit the permitted successors and assigns of Sponsor.
