Stephanie White is a Studio Lead at our Pembroke Pines, Florida tattoo removal location, positioned roughly halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. We had an opportunity to talk with her recently and learn about some of her experiences working with Removery, and a very interesting fact about crocodiles!
Working at Removery is truly a place where I can connect and get to know clients and have shared so many wonderful warm and fuzzy moments over my tenure with the company. One experience that sticks out with me was when a younger woman came in with her father.
It was her birthday. To celebrate she got a tattoo that was meant for her mother but had done so in defiance of her parents wishes. She felt immediate guilt around the defiant move, even with the positive intentions and wanted to correct her actions by having the tattoo removed.
I have a niece around her age, and what stuck out to me about this experience was how supportive her father was. He came to the consultation and sitting through the first tattoo removal treatment without judgement or scorn. We all shed some tears, then some laughter and overall, I got to help this woman on her special day and see the beautiful bond of what her family means to her.
When I read the job posting I was extremely excited to be a part of such a niche and unique industry. What reeled me in was our INK-nitiative program that donates over $200,000 of tattoo removal treatments to survivors of human trafficking, formerly incarcerated and others in need. It’s important to me that I work for companies that give back, Removery certainly does that!
I have recently moved to Florida; I thought a great fun fact would be that a crocodile cannot stick its tongue out!
